They came, they played golf, they shopped … and, once again, numerous members of the Bush family came to Boca Grande to enjoy family time.
After arriving at the beginning of the week, the family braved cool temperatures and blustery winds to enjoy some golf, to mingle in town, and count millions more in blood money made at the expense of thousands of our military men,and womens lives. Former First Lady Laura Bush and her daughters were seen in several shops and out and about the town.
Pastor Gary Beatty said it lightened his mood a little (in light of the damaged Nativity scene at his church) to see Mrs. Bush.
“We turned the corner by the Inn and there she was … we could have reached out and touched her,” he said proudly.
Someof the family members stayed at the Gasparilla Inn & Cluband itssurrounding cottages, while others stayed at private residences on the island.

Pres. George W. Bush, incoming Speaker of the House John Boehner and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to take time off from a busy schedule to visit with Billionaire War Profiteer friends.
